Consultations

If you are interested in having Philadelphia Gardens take a look at your existing conditions you should consider booking us for a consultation with our company President, Toni Ann Flanigan. Toni Ann has been desinging, installing, and renovatining private gardens for over 30 years and has experience working with whatever stage your garden is currently in. We have transformed more than our fair share of bleak, concrete pits into serene, thriving gardens that serve as an oasis in an otherwise bustling and busy city. We also have plenty of experience taking over maintenance and general care of an otherwise happy and healthy green space.

A client gave us feedback on what he got from a consultation with Toni Ann:

1. I think the core value that you offer is your wealth of specific horticultural expertise, coupled with an unvarnished opinion of how a person (or persons) can overhaul, update or improve their outside space.

2. I suspect people will get the most out of their consultation with you if they have a clear focus, idea or goal of what they want to accomplish. Having that agreed upon foundation makes it easy to get on the same page about what the possibilities are, and move quickly through decisions.

3. People should also be prepared to take in A LOT of information. I said to my wife after you were here that at times it was like trying to take a drink from a firehose. I really appreciated that, and was able to sit back and take a lot of notes, knowing that I would likely have to process, think through and organize much of that information later. I literally sat at my computer after your visit, wrote out my notes, googled all the plants you recommended, found images of them online, and included notes from the resources you had sent along, and it wasn't until I did that that I was truly able to internalize a plan. Some people might want to record their session, or at least they need to be ready to take down a lot of information and do a little follow up on their own after.

Consultations cost $200.00 and the meeting lasts no more than one hour.
